Why Dawn Terrace
Designed for where you are now
These courses were built around the reality that financial decisions during difficult periods are made by people who are also managing grief, exhaustion, or uncertainty.
Unhurried pace
Modules are structured so you can return to them. There is no rush to complete. The material waits for you.
Written plans, not advice
You leave each programme with a document you have built yourself — reviewed, organised, and yours to keep.
Sensitive subject matter
Divorce, bereavement, and redundancy are named clearly and handled with care throughout every module.
Hong Kong context
Content reflects local financial structures, MPF considerations, and the particular housing and cost landscape of Hong Kong.
Written for adults 40+
Not generic personal finance. The programmes address the specific concerns of mid-life financial reset: retirement proximity, adult children, and established asset complexity.
No pressure approach
There are no follow-up sales calls or product recommendations embedded in the curriculum. The courses stand on their own.
Questions
Things people ask before enrolling
Do I need to have my finances in order before I start?
No. The first course is specifically designed for people who do not have things in order — that is its starting point. You do not need to have completed any prior financial planning to begin.
Are these courses delivered in person or online?
Both options are available. Our office is in Tsim Sha Tsui and we hold small in-person sessions there. We also offer the same course materials through an online format for those who prefer to work from home or who are based elsewhere in Hong Kong.
Which programme should I start with?
If your situation is recent or still feels unstable, the four-week Financial Footing course is the natural starting point. If things have settled and you are ready to plan forward, the six-week Rebuilding programme is a better fit. The ten-week programme is for those who want to work through everything in one place.
How long do I have access to the course materials?
Participants retain access to their course materials for twelve months from enrolment. Given the nature of the subject matter, we understand that people may need to step away and return.
Is the course fee paid all at once?
For the six-week and ten-week programmes, we offer the option to pay in two instalments. Please mention this when you enquire and we will arrange it. The four-week course is billed in full at enrolment.
What if I need to pause midway through?
Life does not always cooperate with a scheduled course. If you need to pause, please contact us. We will hold your place and pick up where you left off. There is no penalty for taking longer than the course window suggests.
Take the next step
A conversation costs nothing.
Uncertainty costs more.
We are happy to talk through which course might suit your current situation. There is no obligation to enrol.
